In October we were delighted to welcome back Challen Willemsen who told us about his trip to the mountains of Peru in search of orchids.

September’s meeting of the Irish Orchid Society saw an award go the a beautiful Phalaenopsis pulcherrim alba from member Patrick Marshall.

Our first weekend workshop of the year was a great success and the perfect location for a social as well as dealing with some troublesome plants.

The first in-person meeting of 2024 was held in our usual location, the Lecture Theatre at the National Botanic Gardens visitor centre.
